Monitor market trends and risks that could impact fund performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Capital Raising:
At the beginning stage, lead the charge in raising capital for fixed-income funds by identifying, engaging, and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and family offices.
Develop and execute strategies for attracting new investors and securing long-term capital commitments.
Present investment opportunities and the firm’s value proposition to potential investors, ensuring successful fundraising efforts.
Reporting & Compliance:
Present performance reports and investment ideas to the investment committee or senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with the firm’s objectives.
Work closely with the risk and compliance teams to ensure all funds are managed in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Implement operational controls to ensure the efficient and effective management of the fund.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent advanced degree.
CFA, FRM, and/or CAIA designations are highly desirable.
At least 5 years of experience in investment management, with a strong focus on capital raising and investor relations.
Proven ability to raise capital from institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and investors.
Outstanding presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and multi-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple tasks with a high level of integrity, urgency, and attention to detail.
Experience working in Chinese financial services firms will be highly advantageous.
