Investment Associate, Venture Capital Fund (Clean and Renewable Energy)

Our client is a venture capital fund that invests in the clean and renewable energy sector. They value environmental sustainability and aim to bring a positive impact to economies. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an Investment Associate, and the role is based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct investment research and due diligence to identify and screen investment opportunities.
• Conduct financial analysis on potential companies, analyzing financial statements of prospective companies.
• Build financial models and cover investment valuation.
• Work with different teams in the investment deal execution process.
• Assist in post-investment monitoring and support valuation reports.
• Keep track of market trends and developments.
• Other ad-hoc investment duties when necessary.

Key Requirements:

• Around 3 to 6 years of venture capital/private equity investment experience, corporate finance, transaction services, or investment banking.
• Experience in clean and renewable energy or climate change is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or other relevant disciplines.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated, diligent, and possessing a positive attitude.
• Team-oriented and flexible to work in a small office environment.
