Job Description

  • Data Collection & Analysis : Gather and maintain comprehensive financial data relevant to investment portfolios, including market trends, economic indicators and company performance metrics. Compile and analyze data to support investment decisions and strategy development.
  • Investment Portfolio Support : Assist in the coordination and management of investment portfolios by maintaining accurate records and documentation. Monitor portfolio performance, track investment transactions and prepare performance reports for review by senior investment managers.
  • Transaction Execution : Support the execution of investment trades, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Maintain detailed records of transactions and verify the accuracy of trade confirmations and settlements.
  • Market Research & Networking : Conduct thorough research to identify potential investment opportunities that align with the firm's objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, analysts and other industry professionals to facilitate access to investment ideas and opportunities.
  • Reporting & Documentation : Prepare detailed investment reports, presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all investment documentation is accurate, complete and stored securely for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Administrative Support : Provide administrative support to the investment team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements and assisting with correspondence and communication with clients and partners.
  • Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure that all investment activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Assist in the identification and mitigation of potential risks to the firm's investment portfolios.
  • Client Interaction & Relationship Management : Support client relationship management by preparing portfolio reviews and reports, responding to client inquiries and help manage expectations. Assist in understanding client needs to tailor investment solutions accordingly.
  • Technology and Tools Utilization : Utilize financial software and tools to analyze data, manage investment records and generate reports. Stay informed of the latest technology advancements in investment management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in banking or securities environment
  • Familiar with relevant regulations
  • Have strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
