Investment Analyst

Our client is an Asia-focused family office with presence in Hong Kong and Singapore. They are currently seeking an Investment Analyst to join the team.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

1. Support the investment team in overseeing a diverse global portfolio, including equity funds, ETFs, hedge funds, and private market funds.
2. Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative research to identify and assess potential fund investments, with the goal of taking on a leading role in idea generation.
3. Analyse portfolio performance, benchmark against market trends, and manage risk while keeping management updated on key insights.
4. Oversee fund subscriptions, track corporate actions, and promptly inform management of any significant developments.
5. Assist with projects and initiatives as needed to support investment operations.

To be eligible for this role, you will require:

1. A bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in finance or accounting, with at least two years of experience analysing funds, specifically focusing on equities.
2. Strong independent thinking, the ability to evaluate qualitative and quantitative risks.
3. Excellent analytical skills, a structured approach to investment research, and a diligent work ethic, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a small team.
4. Experience with Bloomberg is a plus.
