Investment Analyst

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a one of the largest Japanese venture capital firm and they are currently looking out for an Investment Analyst.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct market research and keep abreast of latest developments across sectors and companies of interest to the fund in Southeast/South Asia and globally.

• Support due diligence on target companies and help craft structured and executive-ready materials for review and evaluation by investment team and fund’s investment committee.

• *This includes translating English investment documents into Japanese that caters to a Japanese business audience and monthly reports to Japan HQ*

• Form comprehensive opinions on potential target company’s strategy, team, and unfair advantages over competitors (go-to-market, product, technology) based on data and facts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced business level to native level Japanese language skills in both written and spoken since you will be working with Japanese counterparties.

• 4-6 years of work experience, including ideally 2-3 years of venture capital investing experience.
