Internal Audit - Leading and driving the implementation of Internal Audit framework, policies, processes to align with company goals. Manage internal Audit Governance, Risk Management and Internal Control Systems assessments. - To audit compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations which could have a significant impact on operations, and to report and investigate major variances. - Leading IA process improvement projects. Provide recommendations to enhance current processes. - To prepare, review, & plan yearly Audit plan with Management based on BARC guidance, recommendations. - Act as a focal point in supporting Joint-Shareholders Audit. Follow up on the implementation of the audit recommendations/findings to ensure that they are addressed and resolved and report to BARC. - Follow up on the action implementation after audit report issued. - Coordinate with all Joint-Shareholders Auditor to maintain IA charter, policy, procedures, methodology, standards, audit programs, KPI’s, reports, etc.
Risk Management - Review and develop the risk management policy and keep it up-to-date. - Calibrate the organization’s assessment and tolerance of risk with the appropriateness and adequacy of controls it has implemented; to understand and assess the effectiveness of such controls and report performance of these to management and the Board Audit and Risk Committee (BARC). - Review the level of risk the company is willing to take and align with BARC on the risk appetite. To get approval from BOD. - Facilitate a risk-aware culture within the organization. - Responsible and accountable in Risk Management Committee (RMC). Proactively identify/analyze current risks and identify potential risks that are affecting the company. - Determine risks to the business based on understanding processes and controls. - Recommend processes to eliminate or mitigate potential risks. - Communicate recommendations to management.
Business Continuity - Identify the risk and recommend/develop contingency plans to manage crises.
Workflow Process Optimization - Streamlining workflows to improve process efficiency. - Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks and redundancies. - Reducing risk by avoiding errors and reworking and report lessons learned.
Other - Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Accountancy or other relevant qualified profession.
At least 8 years’ related experience in internal control/auditing and risk assessment in Petrochemical Industry.
CIA certification is preferred.
Dynamic personality and proven ability to manage multiple and challenging tasks with Stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate any issues in a timely and organized manner to multiple and challenging Stakeholders.
