TITLE: Intern, Biomarkers & Data Analytics

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Conduct a comprehensive literature review on AI-guided microdissection techniques and their applications in various disease areas.
• Support the team in developing workflows for AI-guided microdissection, including assisting with lab-related work (e.g., histology, protocol optimization, whole slide imaging, laser microdissection).
• Perform image analysis and/or develop AI/ML algorithms for detection of relevant features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as biologists, pathologists, and AI/ML experts on projects.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and findings.
• Present findings and insights to the team and stakeholders.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Enrollment in an Undergraduate/Master’s program leading to a Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Science, or Bioengineering; other programs can be considered on individual merit.
• Relevant coursework and hands-on experience in wet lab and dry lab projects related to Image Analysis and Machine Learning/Deep Learning.
• Proficient in programming/scripting using MATLAB, Bash, Python, etc., and common libraries.
