Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnerships: Identify, initiate, and manage relationships with top-tier venture capital firms, hedge funds and other institutional partners and clients to drive strategic partnerships and investment opportunities
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the institutional investment landscape in order to provide strategic insights to the executive team
Deal Structuring and Negotiation: Lead and manage end-to-end deal processes, including structuring, negotiating, and closing complex deals with institutional partners
Networking and Representation: Act as key representative at industry conferences, events, and meetings with institutional partners, as well as build and maintain a strong network
Reporting and KPIs: Develop and maintain a robust reporting system to track the progress and outcomes of BD and growth activities
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of experience in business development and growth, preferably within the Web3, blockchain or fintech industry
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (an MBA or other advanced degree is an added additional advantage)
Established relationships with institutional partners (eg. venture capital firms, hedge funds)
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
Proven positive track record in deal structuring, negotiation and relationship management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Deep understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi, and the broader Web3 landscape is an added advantage
