Job Description

Business development & strategy

  1. Formulate relevant Installer channel sales strategies, tactics, and actions in the BU region, working with the Installer sales team to execute these.
  2. Identify suitable installer partners & formulate development strategy, in terms of products, marketing, training, to increase motorization at each individual shop and gain market share from competition.
  3. Identify the right go-to market with relevant Industrial and Distribution partners to set up the right environment to sell products and services to retailers.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant Distribution and Industrial partners.
  5. Define a service offer for retailers to support them in motorization development.
  6. Collect and share insights from retailers and channel partners.
  7. Finetune and improve strategies and execution to maximize sales and profitability in the Installer channel.
  8. Introduce & promote new products in the market through product launch events.
  9. Organize & coordinate dealer meetings & business promotion events/activities at customer locations.
  10. Design and execute specific promotion schemes.
  11. Monitor costs, competition, and supply and demand to eliminate unprofitable focus.
  12. Understand the product Premix Retail Sales Potentials, Competition, and Pricing.
  13. Maintain relations with Retailers/Dealers for new sales targets.
  14. Create, develop, and maintain relationships with all retail partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction, promote the company brand, and sustain long-term business partnerships.
  15. Manage and oversee all Sales Management Activities.
  16. Ensure all records are entered into the CRM system (salesforce.com).
  17. Provide after-sales services, replenish stocks, process orders, manage collections, promotions, and follow-ups.
  18. Track initiatives for resolving Retailers, Dealers, Outlets issues and provide proper solutions.
  19. Follow up with Distributor/Industrial partner for timely payment.

People Management

  1. Manage the Installer sales team based in South-East Asia and Hong Kong.
  2. Provide necessary resources to empower the team and achieve agreed business performance.
  3. Coach, guide & motivate the team to attain revenue targets.
  4. Engage the team in working cross-functions and cooperate with colleagues in local areas to ensure best coordination and collective success for the company.
  5. Evaluate sales personnel performance to achieve objectives.
  6. Forecast and develop annual sales goals for the team.
  7. Keep the team engaged and motivated.
  8. Support and represent the team internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing/Business studies or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in consumer electronic products is required.
  • A keen planner, strategist & implementer with demonstrated abilities in accelerating business growth.
  • Well-versed with retail channel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, leadership & negotiation skills with a proven track record of developing new markets & launching products.
  • Fluent in English and Thai.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with local/international teams and liaising with different levels of people.
  • Highly self-motivated, dynamic individual but able to work as part of a team.
  • Hands-on and innovative.
  • Able to manage multi-tasks, with the ability to prioritize complex objectives and meet tight timelines.
  • Strong business acumen with understanding about the market and competitors' products.
  • Strong quantitative and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Enjoy networking and meeting new people.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
