We are looking for:

Innovation Manager (full-time employment)

Starting date: From June 2025

Your mission

In this role, you will be responsible for leading end to end internal and external (i.e.: with customers and partners) innovation initiatives and projects. Support or lead internal processes and collaborate with the team, occasionally leading other internal or external team members.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, execute, coach and follow-up innovation initiatives/projects to respond to EHL business needs, search for new opportunities, or to strengthen existing operations and/or business.
  • Define project outline (e.g., objectives, goals, scope, activities, duration, participants, budget, expected results) and source, allocate and inform and engage internal and external participants (employees, customers, users, suppliers or other stakeholders).
  • Lead and manage innovative projects from conception to completion, develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present project reports and documentation.

Promote an innovation friendly organizational culture supporting experimentation, open communication, empowerment, autonomy and a tolerance for failure:

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the organization.
  • Conduct measurements of organizational innovation culture.
  • Structure and implement leadership training programmes.
  • Assess and remove factors that may hinder employee’s job autonomy (e.g., time-draining activities, unnecessary administration, reporting-structures).
  • Establish relationships and networks with internal stakeholders.

Lead development and the continuous maintenance of an inventory of innovation methods and tools, including idea management systems, idea generation methods, staff training programs, and internal networking initiatives:

  • Provide consultation on innovation tools when needed.
  • Convene workshops with clearly defined innovation themes.
  • Structure and implement staff training programmes.
  • Implement and support an organization-wide idea management system, including the gathering, evaluation, selection and implementation of employee’s ideas.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in innovation and project management.

Lead development and the continuous update of the organization’s innovation process(es) in coordination with key stakeholders:

  • Develop appropriate metrics to measure the effectiveness (e.g., number of new or improved offerings) and efficiency (e.g., throughput time) of the innovation process.
  • Develop innovation process documentation and implement staff training programmes.
  • Use current workflow in daily activities (follow up of the tasks, emails & meetings tracking, events feedback, programs management, etc.) and propose new changes and upgrades.

Support the development and generation of new business opportunities and income for the Innovation Hub and related activities, mainly in the Asian market.

Prerequisites and personality:

  • You have a Master degree.
  • You have at least five years of professional experience preferably in the hospitality/event industry or in the field of education.
  • Solution oriented, organized, good communicator, team player, motivated in dynamic environment, time management.
  • Agile Project Management, Data Management, Database understanding, digital implementation, workflows analysis, startups’ business comprehension.
  • You have a good command of English and Mandarin for our specific needs in our growing programs portfolio.
  • You have strong organization skills and very good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • You demonstrate ability to work with multicultural teams and in an international environment.
  • You have excellent communication and inter-personal skills in a business environment.
