Infrastructure Site Supervisor (Healthcare/Contract/Up to $3800/West-Central)

Job Summary:

• Salary Range: $3200 - $3800 (depends on experience)
• Location: Kent Ridge, will be moving to Depot Road in end Dec until the site office at Tengah Hospital is ready.
• Requires travel to hospitals and polyclinics in NUHS cluster. Transport expenses are claimable.
• Working Hours: Mon to Fri, Office Hours

Responsibilities:
The Site Supervisor, Corporate Infrastructure Office will serve as an internal infrastructure Site Supervisor to support and assist Facility Development Project Manager in the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects for NUHS.

1. Supervise the contractors’ works to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and quality required under the terms of contract.
2. Maintain a Site Diary of events and daily surveillance.
3. Attend site progress meetings, technical meetings, and consultants’ meetings.
4. Monitor contractors’ installation details for compliance with CP/manufacturers’ installation instructions.
5. Ensure timely submissions, review, and approval of shop drawings, technical submittals, and samples by contractors.
6. Prepare and update list of outstanding/non-compliance works for discussion at site/progress meetings.
7. Monitor and report progress of works against schedule and prepare monthly updates of site progress.
8. Resolve site coordination issues with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
9. Plan, coordinate, and conduct site inspections and testing & commissioning schedules with stakeholders.
10. Compile and track Defects Lists with the consultants and/or contractors.
11. Lead and attend inspection and testing & commissioning requested by FM and other stakeholders.
12. Lead and execute Special Projects or tasks as directed by Reporting Officer.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Architectural/Architectural Technology, Engineering, or other relevant qualifications with at least 5 years of relevant site experience in healthcare infrastructure or construction supervision/design consultancy in the built environment sector.
2. Familiar with inspection processes in a healthcare environment or any relevant built environment sector.
3. Experience in supervision of Additions and Alterations works in a healthcare environment or any relevant built environment sector.
4. Team player with good project management, supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills.
5. Proactive, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure.
6. Proficient in AutoCAD drafting; knowledge in 3D Sketchup software is advantageous.
7. Able to prepare and plan project schedules using project management tools or Excel.
8. Able to multi-task and perform in a dynamic working environment.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
