Job Summary: The Infra Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting Network
Administration and Management Services for the Company and/or the In-Scope
Institutions. This role includes managing network and security infrastructure, monitoring
network performance, and ensuring the stability and security of network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network and Security Equipment Management:
• Support and manage routers, switches, firewalls, Intrusion
Detection/Intrusion Prevention System, VPN gateways, proxies, Wire Lan
Controllers, Network Access Control appliances, load balancers, Network
Management System, and other network devices.
• Perform day-to-day network and security operations, including monitoring
and managing network infrastructure. - Incident and Problem Management:
• Respond to network incidents according to severity levels and meet service
level requirements.
• Handle high-pressure situations, identify problems, and make quick
decisions to resolve issues.
• Adhere to incident management workflows and procedures. - Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain and update network diagrams, configuration records, inventory,
RMA records, and incident reports.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on network performance, capacity
planning, and incident analysis. - Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with third-party vendors, telecommunication operators, ISPs,
and other service providers.
• Participate in transition planning and support the onboarding of network and
security systems. - Compliance and Training:
• Ensure compliance with company policies, information security guidelines,
and health and safety regulations.
• Provide continuous training to enhance knowledge and skills in network
administration and management.
Qualifications:
• Education: Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience:
• Level 1: Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing network and security
infrastructure.
• Level 2: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing network and security
infrastructure.
• Certifications:
• Level 1: ITIL certified, CCNA or equivalent network certifications.
• Level 2: ITIL certified, CCNP or equivalent network certifications, CompTIA
Security+ or equivalent security certifications.
• Skills:
• Strong technical knowledge of network and security systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
• Ability to work on different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• On standby and contactable 24/7 for support and escalation.
