Informatics Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and plan new polyclinic instrument IT connectivity, oversee all testing, and ensure timely delivery.
• Cross-department Collaboration: Work with other departments (e.g., for cross-institutional referral of Imaging services, intra- and inter-cluster blood collection workflow) on IT work plans to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential application and impact on operations, integrating new solutions where beneficial.
• Change Management: Ensure effective change communication.
• Business as Usual (BAU) IT Activities: Oversee BAU IT activities, ensuring full compliance with GITO requirements, budgeting, and resource management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Certifications in EPIC Beaker and other NGEMR applications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare with at least 2 years of IT application specialist related position.
• Track records on leading projects, IT solutioning and data analysis.
• Candidate should be familiar with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
