Job Description

REQUIREMENTS: CNC PROGRAMMERS ONLY

1. Read blueprints and technical drawings to set up machines based on specification
2. Comprehend product design into computer modelling software
3. Use computer software to create the design of parts and tools
4. Coordinate with purchasing manager to maintain inventory of raw materials
5. Implement routine machine maintenance checklist and focus on preventive maintenance
6. Write formulas to program lathe and mills using different computer software
7. Complete quality control during the machine’s manufacturing stage and on the final product
8. Adjust and verify machine settings to desired product specification
9. Troubleshoot issues with the machine during the instructional design process
10. Be able to program FANUC system, look at drawings, make threads
