Responsibilities
Prepare authentic Indian dishes, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Propose seasonal ingredients, dishes and culinary trends to improve on menu
Manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs
Ensure adherence to cleanliness, tidiness, food safety and hygiene standards
Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Kitchen and Service team to improve overall dining experience
Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Cook
Passion for Indian cuisine
Expertise in vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian cooking
Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory systems
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
Willing to work on weekends, and holidays as required in the restaurant industry.
