Job description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare authentic Indian dishes, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
  • Propose seasonal ingredients, dishes and culinary trends to improve on menu
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs
  • Ensure adherence to cleanliness, tidiness, food safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Kitchen and Service team to improve overall dining experience
  • Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Cook
  • Passion for Indian cuisine
  • Expertise in vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian cooking
  • Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory systems
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
  • Willing to work on weekends, and holidays as required in the restaurant industry.
