The Inbound Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Receiving, Put-away, Redressing, and Returns departments. This role includes managing staffing, training, safety, scheduling, receiving, processing returns, equipment maintenance, and loss prevention. The supervisor is also responsible for training and developing team members by providing leadership and guidance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all receiving operations, including the unloading and sorting of deliveries.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all incoming shipments.
Supervise and train receiving staff to maintain efficiency and performance standards.
Monitor the accuracy of all receiving records, including inventory and stock levels.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Identify and resolve any receiving or inventory discrepancies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate warehouse operations.
Oversee the functionality of material handling equipment (MHE) by monitoring conditions, arranging servicing, and ensuring timely repairs.
Assist the department manager with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Proven experience in receiving and inventory management.
Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment.
Proficiency in MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
