Job Description: Personal Learning Experience Designer (Learning & Development Executive)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning & Development Executive to join our Learning & Development (L&D) team within the HR department of our fashion lifestyle store. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing L&D strategies that align with our company's goals and comply with Singapore's Progressive Wage Model (PWM).

Responsibilities:

  1. L&D Policy and Strategy
    · Develop and implement comprehensive L&D policies and strategies
    · Assess training needs and create customized training plans to address skill gaps and improve performance
    · Foster a culture of lifelong learning for employees, providing impactful learning opportunities
  2. Training Development and Delivery
    · Design and deliver engaging training programs for various departments, including new hire orientation, product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service
    · Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources
    · Conduct training sessions in both classroom and on-the-job settings
  3. Career Path Framework
    · Establish a career path framework that complies with the Progressive Wage Model (PWM)
    · Develop dual career progression pathways - supervisory and specialist tracks - to provide clear advancement opportunities
    · Define job responsibilities and key competencies for each level of the career progression pathways
  4. Performance Evaluation and Improvement
    · Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback
    · Collaborate with store managers and supervisors to identify training needs and provide ongoing support
    · Measure the impact of training on store performance and analyze efficiency through sales results and client satisfaction feedback
  5. L&D Planning and Administration
    · Plan and manage the annual L&D calendar based on business needs and priorities
    · Manage the L&D budget, ensuring positive return on investment
    · Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in retail training

Requirements:

  1. · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field
  2. · 5 to 8 years of proven experience as an In-House Trainer, L&D Specialist, or similar role in the retail or fashion industry
  3. · Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies
  4. · Excellent presentation and communication skills
  5. · Proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning platforms
  6. · Knowledge of Singapore's employment practices and Progressive Wage Model (PWM)
  7. · Ability to work collaboratively within the HR team and across departments

Reporting Structure:

This position will report directly to the HR Manager and will be an integral part of the HR department.
