Job description

SUMMARY OF THIS ROLE

Report to Group Head of People and Culture and act as business partner leading and managing the routine Compensation and Benefits HR operations for all entities and work closely with other People and Culture Specialist for any ad-hoc projects required for business needs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate closely with payroll vendors to oversee and manage the entire payroll cycle for all entities, including international locations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll computation and processing for all employees.
  • Conduct attendance verification to ensure that leave and overtime records in the HRIS system are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Manage tax clearance, monthly CPF submissions, annual income tax filings, and the submission of government paid-leave claims, NS claims, and other related processes.
  • Partner with the Finance team on payroll closing, general ledger (GL) reporting, and payroll reconciliations.
  • Advise business managers on labor policies and employment legislation, ensuring that compliance requirements are understood and followed.
  • Ensure all HR processes are in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and updated employee records in the HR system.
  • Partner with peers and leadership to champion and promote Arcc Culture across the organization.
  • Assist with any other ad-hoc HR tasks as assigned by the superior.

ARCHETYPES OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

  • Proven experience in payroll management, compliance, and HR processes.
  • Strong understanding of local payroll regulations, including government portals and CPF requirements.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams, including Finance and Business Managers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • At least 2 year solid human resources experience with payroll exposure is preferred
  • Less experience with can-do and fast learn attitude will be also be considered as Assistant
