Job description

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide support to the day-to-day HR operations. The incumbent will assist the Human Resources Manager in HR functions and processes which includes recruitment, maintenance of HR and employee records, training administration, payroll support and HR administrative support.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide support to the day-to-day HR operations.
  2. Maintain effective records keeping and ensure updates are timely made. This includes training records, manpower records, etc.
  3. Track and ensure completion of records and documentations which include training evaluations, orientation and onboarding documentations, etc.
  4. Submission of government-related claims which include government paid leaves, training grants, etc.
  5. Assist in recruitment activities which includes posting of job advertisements on approved platforms, initial shortlisting of candidates, and arranging for interviews. Focus would be on warehouse operational employees.
  6. Support in orientation and onboarding for new employees.
  7. Support in training function including training and course registrations with training providers and monitoring training evaluations are completed timely.
  8. Support in payroll administration which includes verifying OT and allowance submissions.
  9. Work pass administration.
  10. Assist with HR-related queries from employees.
  11. Assist with government survey completions that are HR-related.
  12. Support HR projects undertaken by the HR Department and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Meticulous and attention to detail.
  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • People-oriented.
  • Possess certifications/qualifications in HR.
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar capacity.
  • Discreet and able to ensure confidentiality when dealing with confidential matters.
