Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

General Accountability:

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources (HR) Business Partner’s focus is to build a genuine and strong business partner relationship with key internal stakeholders to enable them to meet their operational and strategic goals.

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing daily leadership, support, coaching, and advice on all HR matters to the Leaders. As the dedicated HR specialist for Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and China, it is critical that the incumbent can develop a deep understanding of the business, workforce, capability requirements, and challenges faced in the semiconductor field. This role partners with the Leaders to effectively deliver value and achieve people-oriented results.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities outlined here are not an exhaustive list as the duties may alter accordingly to the requirements of the business as directed by the AEM Executive Management Team. The incumbent is required to:

1. Work as one team with the HR Business Partners across AEM on HR initiatives to ensure synergies are derived across the operations and functions.
2. Coach Leaders on competency and capability uplift, talent development and succession planning, and change management.
3. Identify, implement, and drive initiatives that enhance culture and support exceptional performance.
4. Provide strategic HR insights to enable transformation and deliver business value.
5. Partner with Leaders to develop Strategy Workforce Plans that align with business objectives.
6. Develop business fluency so that objectives and key results are cascaded down and tracked.
7. Harness digital systems and leverage data insights to optimize talent recruitment, employee engagement, human capital development, and productivity.
8. Support Leaders with case management, performance, and disciplinary matters.

Requirements & Competencies:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant business-related discipline.

Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role providing strategic and tactical advice to Leaders.
• Experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
• Relevant experience in supporting Leaders and a passion for empowering Leaders to build a high-performing culture.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Approachable, resilient, and agile to change.
• Excel in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on results and deadlines.
