HSE Officer / Engineer

Job Description

• Ensure the Safety of personnel through compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and other relevant legislations
• Advise / Report to the occupier of the workplace together with recommendations on remedial measures to be taken to prevent any incident recurrence
• Support Project Management team to implement Project HSE Programs
• Administer HSE Meetings and maintain HSE documentations
• Maintain and implement Emergency Response Procedures for Project
• Assess and review PTW for the activities
• Review Risk Assessments and Work Method Statements for Project high risk activities
• Manage subcontractors to coordinate HSE Programs
• Carry out daily site inspection to ensure workplace is safe to work
• Conduct HSE Trainings and briefings when required
• Carry out incident investigations and propose corrective actions to Project Management Team

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marine or safety industry
• Preferably possess WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health
• The incumbent should be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented
• Willing to work overtime and shift works according to project needs
