Job description

We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist focusing on Learning & Development to join our HR team. This role will manage the day-to-day activities and ensure its alignment with business processes and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Partner with key stakeholders to identify emerging learning and development needs.
  2. Take lead in collating and conducting the annual learning needs analysis to develop the Company’s overall Learning Plan.
  3. Prepare and monitor yearly training budget.
  4. Identify and manage external partners for customized content and delivery, negotiate terms of agreement and handle contracts administration in consultation with Corporate Legal team.
  5. Develop and review employee orientation materials contents and update them periodically to ensure that they are up to date.
  6. Organize and conduct orientation program for new employees.
  7. Regularly review and update Training Calendars in HR portal (On-boarding and Corporate Training calendars).
  8. Coordinate and administer specified in-house or external training programs that address business needs, regulatory requirements, and compliance requirements.
  9. Liaise with training vendors on training schedule, training materials, costs, venue, and other arrangements to ensure the proper execution of the training plan.
  10. Conduct, evaluate and follow-up on post-training assessment and feedback. Monitor training effectiveness of training programmes delivered are current, relevant, and effective.
  11. Attend to ad-hoc training requests.
  12. Administer training bonds.
  13. Administer all training grants application and claims (Training Grant, Absentee Payroll, etc.).
  14. Generate training reports and track program utilization.
  15. Handle employee queries on Training Policy and procedure.
  16. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Studies or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 to 8 years of Learning & Development experience.
  3. Prior experience in HR Operations.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  5. High integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information and/or projects.
  6. Strong communication, good interpersonal, and time management skills.
  7. Meticulous, organized, and resourceful team player.
  8. Flexible and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
