We are searching for a passionate Human Resources Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to be in charge of and assist the management in handling all aspects of recruitment, payroll-related matters, and employee key performance indicator systems and management.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day financial matters, month-end and year-end accounts closing related to Payroll, which include:
Pre-Payroll activities including inputting and updating employee details and managing government claims.
Payroll activities including processing payroll, processing CPF, and managing payroll payments.
Post-Payroll activities, including provision for bonuses, managing month-end/year-end closing, submission of IRAS Tax Declaration Annual Form 8E, and answering employee payroll inquiries.
Regular review of compliance with statutory requirements.
Support and provide advice in structuring and developing the team to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day Payroll operations.
Liaise with internal and external auditors and/or tax agents on payroll-related matters.
Act as the contact point for institutional Finance and HR staff, partnering closely to ensure organizational readiness and capability to deliver business results.
In charge of the employee’s monthly KPI calculation for monthly payroll.
Participate in salary surveys, review survey data, and recommend HR managers’ follow-up actions as required.
Plan, organize, and work with management/staff on the administration of the monthly, bi-yearly, and annual Total Performance Management (TPM) exercise, including analysis of bell curve by family groups, job bands, and departments.
Plan, organize, and work with management/staff to ensure timely processing of annual increment and bonus payments.
Be fully involved in hiring the best talent for the educational business industries with an understanding of current and future anticipated needs.
Be constantly aware of the industry's market demands on staffing, remuneration, and benefits, and propose to the management team.
Ensure constant recruitment drives are ongoing in line with business needs.
Collaborate closely with management to ensure key staff are consistently engaged; recommend appropriate retention strategies for critical resources.
Lead staff performance review and succession planning efforts.
Be in charge of employee engagement surveys (staff satisfaction) and MOM surveys.
Be in charge of HR processes for audit purposes.
Work with the training officer for the total company training plan.
All other tasks as reasonably directed by the principal/Management.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ working experience in an HR and finance function or financial shared service center, preferably in a supervisory role.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Human Resources or equivalent.
Prior exposure to Payroll processes in educational industries would be an advantage.
Ability to organize, plan, and implement.
Pleasant disposition, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
Meticulous, independent, able to multi-task and follow through with minimum supervision.
Good time management and organizational skills, as well as a customer-oriented mindset.
As our customer is a Chinese speaker, fluency in speaking and writing in Chinese is preferred.
