Job description

Oversee and spearhead the full spectrum of Human Resource functions and operations encompassing Recruitment and Selection, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, Training and Development, Policies and Procedures, Manpower Planning, Staff Welfare, Employee Relations, Staff Orientation, Performance Management, Employment Administration, HRIS, Surveys, Foreign Workers’ Administration and Leave Administration.

Job Description:

  1. Manage all matters relating to HR & Payroll, such as recruitment & talent search, compensation & benefits, training and development, performance review, exit management, employee engagement and retention.
  2. Implement monthly payroll, medical and expense reimbursement.
  3. Understand ground issues, prioritise critical open positions to be filled in consultation with hiring managers, identify their future manpower needs and provide effective HR support and recruitment strategies.
  4. Provide advice and counselling to line managers on staff-related issues such as performance counselling, disciplinary actions, grievance handling.
  5. Ensure compliance of HR policies and procedures within the local statutory requirements.
  6. Ensure employees are adequately covered by respective insurance policies.
  7. Upkeep the HR system and maintain proper filing of records.
  8. Work Pass Processing; ensure all work permits for foreign staff are obtained and comply with Singapore labour laws and Acts.
  9. Design and track the effectiveness of company's compensation and benefits benchmark against market practices.
  10. Identify opportunities for improvement. Recommend and implement initiatives to strengthen the Company’s standing as an employer of choice.
  11. Conduct interviews and selection of candidates.
  12. Onboarding and off boarding of employees.
  13. Implement company training & development plan.
  14. Arrange training venue, logistics and conduct/procure regular training workshops.
  15. Handle human resources projects and other assignments (such as CSR, staff bonding activities) as and when required.
  16. Handle employee queries, disputes, feedback.
  17. Organise and run company events.

Job Requirement:

  1. Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management or its equivalent.
  2. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in HR and Payroll Administration, preferably in an SME.
  3. Sound knowledge of the Employment Act, MOM regulations and industry best practices.
  4. Able to convey HR policies with clarity, accuracy and tact verbally and in writing.
  5. Proactive, analytical and attentive to details.
  6. Strong people skills, projects a positive image of the company as a staff ambassador.
  7. Demonstrates sensitivity and empathy in handling HR issues.
  8. Knowledge of Infotech HR software is advantageous.
  9. A single contributor who can keep up with fast changes and work independently with minimal supervision.
