HR Operations Manager – Commerce

We’re delighted to be partnering with a global Fortune 500 commerce business on a HR Operations Manager opportunity. The newly established role will oversee HR operations across several Southeast Asian markets, managing both local and regional HR initiatives. You will ensure the efficient delivery of services whilst aligning regional efforts with overarching global objectives, driving smooth execution of strategies in diverse markets.

Your role will oversee the delivery of HR operations across Southeast Asia, focusing on creating outstanding employee experiences across the entire employee lifecycle. You’ll also manage key relationships with service providers, driving improvements in both operational efficiency and employee satisfaction. Your leadership will guide your team toward achieving high standards of operational excellence, ensuring the effective management of HR systems, policies, and processes while keeping pace with regional regulatory updates. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with both local and regional employment regulations, safeguarding data privacy, and overseeing both internal and external HR audits. Project management expertise will be vital as you spearhead HR initiatives, implement new workflows, and maintain up-to-date policy documentation.

To thrive in this position, you should bring at least 8 years of experience in HR operations within sizeable multinational organizations. A strong understanding of Singapore employment laws and the ability to navigate complex HR landscapes across multiple countries is essential. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with a strategic mindset for driving operational improvements and making data-driven decisions is crucial for success. Proficiency in HR systems such as SuccessFactors or Workday is required.
