HR Manager - Strategies/ Union Experience (Manufacturing)

Job Description

Leading a team of HR professionals, this role is accountable for budget recommendations and the effective execution of HR strategies within set budget. The role involves overseeing a wide range of human resources programs and policies, ensuring the organization’s current and future HR needs are met.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing recruitment, training and development, compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations, while ensuring compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
2. Collaborating closely with functional and operational managers to implement HR strategies aligned with business needs.
3. Assessing future workforce requirements and recommending adjustments to HR programs.
4. Managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and compliant employee payments.
5. Driving strategic HR initiatives that may impact overall organizational performance.
6. Providing strong leadership in recruitment management and policy development, integrating day-to-day HR functions with long-term strategic planning.

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resource Management
• At least 5+ years of HR leading experience
• Experience in liaising with Union, able to handle HR strategies
• Prior work experience in chemical manufacturing industry is a plus
• Short notice period is a plus
