HR Manager

Working days: Monday - Friday (1 day WFH)
Working hours: 9am - 6pm
Salary: $6000 - $8000
Office Location: Pandan Road - Transport Pick Up from Clementi MRT

Reporting to: Executive Chairman

SUMMARY: Responsible for HR Business Partnering and HR functions for Group of companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Employee Relations and Business Partnering:

  • Provide Global HR business partner support which includes establishing/maintaining effective working relationships/partnerships with key internal stakeholders, recruitment, employee relations, coaching, grievance handling, and employee counselling and discipline processes.
  • Lead and supervise the team pertaining to all HR matters such as payroll, taxation, training & development, etc.
  • Serve as a bridge between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and resolving work-related problems.
  • Provide advisory and support to Appointed Common Contractors.

HR Projects:

  • Lead and execute HR projects, including change management, succession planning, and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Lead company-wide training programs for all employees.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Lead Compensation & Benefits schemes and processes such as salary & benefits survey, job benchmarking, salary controls, remuneration, and grants.
  • Support harmonization of HR policies and SOP.
  • Oversee HR policies and procedures to ensure company practices are compliant with MOM rules/regulations.
  • Oversee Compensation & Benefits schemes, including payroll backup when necessary.
  • Lead the planning and execution of the Performance Management cycle, salary, and bonus review.
  • Lead all internal and external audits.
  • Check and approve regional office payroll.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage the full spectrum of mid-level to high-level recruitment and exit processes for all staff.
  • Conduct talent acquisition, liaise with external recruitment agencies, and post job positions on various recruitment websites.
  • Screen candidates’ resumes, prepare salary proposals, and employment contracts.
  • Manage the off-boarding cycle, including conducting exit interviews, retrenchment exercises, and repatriation of workers due to disciplinary issues.
  • Coach managers and employees on HR policies, labour laws, and best people practices.

Training & Development:

  • Liaise with business leaders to identify learning and development needs.
  • Coach and supervise the team on learning and development matters, including but not limited to the Talent Retention Programme, Graduate Attachment Programme, and ensuring ISO documents are in place.
  • Manage the organization training budget to ensure efficient utilization and management of professional development funding when applicable.

Facilities & Administration:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
  • Provide guidance and advice for office management/maintenance.
