HR Manager (C&B / $8k/ EAST)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliance with all legal statutory regulations and headquarters’ requirements in the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) function (e.g., MOM and employee-related, RBA, etc.).
• Ensure competitiveness in compensation by benchmarking with companies in manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and semiconductor industries.
• Plan and oversee the yearly merit increment and appraisal process to ensure timely execution and completion.
• Propose competitive compensation packages for salary adjustments, including promotions and upgrades.
• Execute bonus planning proposals and oversee payout activities in accordance with guidelines and approved budgets.
• Drive and participate in the annual budgeting exercise.
• Maintain current knowledge of market issues and changes in government regulations affecting the company’s compensation and benefits system.
• Develop and maintain HR-related procedures and documentation for these processes.
• Drive or implement continuous improvement practices and HR projects within the organization.

Training & Development

• Provide guidance to the HR Administrator regarding Training & Development.
• Oversee the training and development needs of employees to enhance overall skills and career development, aiming to attain business objectives.
• Source and recommend programs while identifying training needs analysis using the competency model.
• Act as an internal consultant to build and facilitate the implementation of learning and development solutions.

Requirements

• Degree holder, preferably in HR Management.
• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations, HR best practices, C&B analysis, and training-related functions.
