Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the Human Resources (HR) department.
  • Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Manage the full spectrum of human resource functions such as recruitment and hiring, manpower planning, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employer-employee relations, and workplace safety.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations and the company development needs.
  • Ensure HR compliance in all areas and effective implementation of HR strategies aligned with the Institute’s business objectives.
  • Formulate plans for the development of the company's organizational structure and personnel, and promote their implementation.
  • Plan and design employee benefit plans for implementation.
  • Organize regular inventory and internal talent assessment work closely linked with the business department.
  • Administer the full spectrum of payroll, including accurate and timely processing of payroll, CPF submission, income tax preparation and submission, reservists’ pay, and all other claims, reconciliation of monthly payroll reports, audit matters, and all other payroll-related matters.
  • Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by Management whenever required.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Food & Beverage HR management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management / Business.
  • Well-versed in the local Employment Act and other related employment guidelines/regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to lead a team and supervise projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
