The HR Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, from recruitment to employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance with labor laws. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to foster positive employee relations, and the implementation of HR policies that align with the organization's overall strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring new employees.
Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs.
Employee Relations:
Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns, grievances, and conflicts.
Develop and maintain a positive organizational culture.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal requirements regarding employee rights.
Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance appraisal systems.
Provide support to managers in addressing performance issues.
Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Oversee payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and bonuses.
Stay up-to-date on market trends to ensure the company offers competitive compensation packages.
Compliance & Legal:
Ensure the company complies with all local employment laws and regulations.
Handle employee documentation, such as contracts and performance records, while maintaining confidentiality.
Advise leadership on HR best practices and compliance requirements.
Training & Development:
Coordinate employee training programs to ensure professional growth and compliance with company needs.
Identify skills gaps and create development plans for teams and individual employees.
Health & Safety:
Monitor health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Implement programs that support employee well-being and promote a safe working environment.
HR Strategy:
Contribute to the development of the HR strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Conduct HR data analysis and prepare reports to inform leadership on trends in employee engagement, turnover, etc.
Payroll Processing:
Submission of CPF, Tax clearance, Income Tax filing
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus).
Experience: 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
