Job description

We are looking for a hands-on HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes with strong recruiting experience.

The HR Manager will be the go-to person for all employee-related issues at Suzuki.

He/She will drive HR activities in the areas of Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Training & Development and Talent Management.

The job of the HR manager is important to our business success. Together with the site Management Team, he/she will work towards creating a happy and productive workplace, promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture as the business scale its next wave of growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge Management and Employee Relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Manage the Recruitment and Selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Hands-on in HR processes (eg : Payroll, Manpower Planning and Budgeting, Sales Incentives)
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to Management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Skills

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • At least 5 years of proven working experience in a similar capacity
  • People-oriented and Results driven
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
  • Practical experience in using MS office, HR systems and database management
  • Good active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
  • Comfortable with Matrix-reporting to Corporate Functional HR Head and site Business Unit Head
