We are currently partnering with a growing startup fintech company to identify a strong HR Generalist to support the expansion of their Singapore office. The firm currently has an established presence in the Taiwan market and is looking to build their Singapore business. The Founders are highly established individuals within the fintech space, with a passion to tap into the Singapore market due to propelled growth and technological advancement across the APAC region.
Working alongside the CEO in Singapore and the HR team based in Taiwan, your role will be to establish end-to-end HR practices and policies whilst liaising closely with MOM and MAS for any HR matters and escalations. You’ll play a pivotal role in establishing HR policies, employee handbooks, and implementing a benefits framework for the business. You’ll also drive recruitment efforts whilst managing the onboarding process and be responsible for all payroll matters. As the team expands, you’ll act as the key point of contact for all employee relations and business partnering matters, establishing yourself as a trusted partner to stakeholders and employees within the firm.
The suitable individual should bring prior knowledge and experience within the financial technology industry and be extremely comfortable managing a generalist role within a smaller and rapidly expanding business. You’ll also be someone who is able to work autonomously with minimal guidance and demonstrate a self-starter and proactive attitude. You’ll be self-motivated and comfortable being extremely hands-on whilst knowing how to actively problem-solve with a positive mindset.
Previous experience managing payroll is a must. Candidates who speak Mandarin will be highly considered.
