Job description

The Human Resource (HR) Executive provides HR consulting to the business. He/She liaises with line managers to understand development requirements and projects future skills demands.

He/She guides learning managers to focus on learning programmes to bridge staff capability gaps and build new skills and supports the design and implementation of company-wide leadership development and talent management programmes. He/She also provides training administration support for stakeholders, including training registrations, records management, compliance and reporting.

As the main point of contact between HR and the business, the HR Executive is an excellent communicator who aligns interests among various stakeholders to promote a cooperative and collaborative work environment. He/She adopts a service excellence mindset and is passionate about addressing organisational and employees' needs and issues.

Job Description:

  • Define learning and development needs based on business and staff capability needs.
  • Guide and advise employees on career development policy, framework and programmes for career progression in the organization.
  • Analyse assessment data to identify high-potential talent in organisation with reference to Skills Maps of the Skills Frameworks.
  • Guide senior management to implement succession plans to identify and groom individuals to take over leadership roles within the organization.
  • Analyse data gathered from line managers on competencies required and gaps identified.
  • Incorporate profiling tools into the learning needs analysis process.
  • Evaluate business impact of investing in learning needs.
  • Prioritise learning needs based on current and future business requirements.
  • Training related matters including coordination or enrolment of internal & external courses and update of training records into system.
  • Maintenance of training applications, evaluation forms and certificates.
  • Preparation of monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in HR Management, Business Administration or similar relevant field would be preferred.
  • At least 2 years of relevant HR experience in Learning & Development.
  • Prior experience in Learning Management System software will be advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of HR operational processes and understanding of local labour laws and legislation.
