Job description
  • Position : HR cum Admin Officer (Payroll/ Work Pass Application)

  • Location : Loyang Crescent (Company Bus Pickup location - Ang Mio Kio MRT, Hougang Ave 2, Pasir Ris MRT and Pasir Ris Street 1)

  • Working hours : 5 Working day (Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM)

  • Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3,700 + AWS + Bonus + 14 days Annual Leave

  • Duration : Permanent

  • Industry : Automation, Manufacturing, Engineering, Aviation

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle personnel administration including maintaining and updating employee records and databases, payroll processing and reporting, leave and claims management, and performing checks to ensure accuracy of records.

  • Administer and monitor work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.

  • Administer people insurance matters ensuring coverage is maintained.

  • Coordinate annual compensation review, bonus setting and performance appraisal.

  • Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, and new employee onboarding.

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations and that SOPs and policies are updated.

  • Assist in organizing and providing support for company events and welfare activities.

  • Other HR duties as assigned.

  • Manage office supplies, office equipment leases, and contractors/service providers to ensure the office and workshop environment is well maintained, organized and compliant with rules and regulations.

  • Provide necessary support to ensure compliance with ISO and other standards.

  • Manage office insurance matters ensuring coverage is maintained on a timely basis.

  • Other office administration duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma holder.

  • 1-2 years’ experience in HR and administrative roles, especially in SMEs.

  • Familiarity with relevant laws such as employment laws, CPF rules is preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel and Word).

  • Attention to detail with good time management.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications.
