Duties:
Recruitment
Perform full range of recruitment and placement activities, including direct sourcing, interviews, shortlisting, reference checks, verifications, salary negotiations, offer, onboarding, probationary reviews, and management of external recruiters and online job portals.
Benchmarking and maintaining a database of market’s competitive C&B practices.
Maintain good relationships with local higher institutions to attract talents and intern students. Participate in the career fairs organized by local IHLs.
Talent Management
Design employee performance evaluation and merit programs with leadership.
Co-lead annual employee performance reviews with hiring managers.
Work closely with leaders and department heads for talent development, retention, performance, and exit management.
Bridge leadership and employee relations by addressing performance and behavioral expectations and issues.
Other HR and Admin Management
Function as an important partner to C-suite leadership.
Co-work with and support regional HR in China as One HR.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements, e.g., CPF, IRAS, MOM, NS, Childcare Leave, and other government-related claims.
Administer work pass application/issuance/renewal/cancellation etc.
Responsible for updating and maintaining the HR database.
Actively identify gaps in the organization’s HR process and system (e.g., leave application system) and propose methods or procedures to improve them.
Work closely with other stakeholders for ESG and other grants from application to claim submission. Keep track of the progress of grant applications, project schedules, work-in-progress, and claims submission.
Be the key contact person with office building management to address issues on power supply, air conditioning, shared facilities, etc.
Perform general admin work, office purchasing, and other ad-hoc duties when required.
Requirements:
Degree or accredited professional qualifications in Human Resources or related field with at least 5 years of HRBP experience, including prior or current talent acquisition experience.
Strong entrepreneurial spirit with lateral thinking and excellence in execution in a multifaceted environment.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices in accordance with TAFEP guidelines.
