Job description

Purpose

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an HRBP you will support the HR team in aligning human resources initiatives with business goals and objectives. The role will focus on providing HR support to various departments, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a positive workplace culture.


Responsibilities

Employee Support:

  1. Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and facilitate employee relations activities.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  1. Assist in coordinating onboarding processes for new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
  2. Assist with offboarding in line with company requirements.

Immigration

  1. Manage all immigration activities around Singapore requirements for new and existing employees.
  2. Help track immigration status and COMPASS eligibility.

Training And Development

  1. Coordinate training sessions and professional development programs.

HR Administration

  1. Manage HR data via an HR cube ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  2. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  3. Assist in the preparation and analysis of HR metrics and reports.

Employee Engagement

  1. Support initiatives aimed at improving employee morale and engagement.
  2. Assist in coordinating employee social club and other HR engagement activities.

Policy Implementation

  1. Help in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  2. Ensure that all HR communications are consistent and aligned with company values.

Projects And Initiatives

  1. Participate in various HR projects and initiatives as required by the HRBP team.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR-related initiatives.

HR Metrics And Reporting

  1. Analyse HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
  2. Prepare reports and presentations for management on various HR topics.

Compliance And Policy Development

  1. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations including data and questionnaire completion for regulatory bodies.
  2. Develop, communicate, and implement HR policies and procedures.
  3. Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in HR with a focus on Business Partnering.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  3. Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and Singapore employment law.
  4. Proven experience in employee engagement.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  7. Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR analytics preferred.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  10. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  11. Proactive, results-oriented, and a self-starter.
  12. Financial Acumen.
