We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner for a 6-month contract position. The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, providing strategic and operational HR support to the business units of the regional Asia team. He/She will partner with leadership to drive key HR initiatives, enhance employee engagement, and foster a positive work culture.
In this role we expect you to…
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Asia leadership team on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, new employee onboarding, talent development, and organizational design.
- Implement and manage HR programs and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, talent reviews, and succession planning.
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition activities for the Asia HQ team; from co-creating the job description with line managers based on business needs, screening, interview scheduling, offer management, salary review to facilitating new employee onboarding.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
- Support the HR Vice President on HR metrics reporting and data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Ensure master data integrity in the HR system including data entry and potential audits.
- Manage HR projects and initiatives as assigned, ensuring timely and effective execution.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition or equivalent roles. Prior working experience in retail or FMCG industry will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in Singapore.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, demonstrated ability in managing difficult situations with diplomacy and tact, and experience in influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization to build consensus and support.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
