About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. As an HRBP, you will play a key role in supporting our workforce of 200 employees, ensuring smooth HR operations with a focus on payroll management, compliance, training, and performance evaluation. You will collaborate with leadership to drive HR initiatives that enhance employee experience, ensure legal compliance, and foster professional development.

Responsibilities:
Payroll & Compensation:
  1. Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  2. Manage salary structures, benefits administration, and payroll reconciliations.
  3. Ensure compliance with employment tax laws, payroll regulations, and government reporting.
  4. Handle tax filing processes, including: Monthly CPF contributions and tax deductions, Annual IRAS tax reporting (IR8A, IR21, AIS submission, etc.), managing expat tax obligations and employee tax clearance for departures.
  5. Develop payroll workflows and SOPs to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  6. Partner with finance and external auditors to ensure smooth payroll audits and tax reporting.
HR Compliance & Policies:
  1. Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies.
  2. Manage employee records, contracts, and statutory reporting requirements.
  3. Act as the primary contact for HR audits and government reporting.
  4. Stay updated on labor laws, employment contracts, and workplace safety requirements.
  5. Establish standardized workflows and SOPs for HR compliance processes.
  6. Support internal audits, ensuring HR processes meet compliance standards.
  7. Manage ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies to align with company security standards and support internal audit findings.
Training & Development:
  1. Develop and implement training programs, including onboarding, technical skills, leadership development, and compliance training.
  2. Work closely with department heads to identify training needs and track progress.
  3. Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  4. Design and document training workflows and SOPs to ensure consistency in learning delivery.
Performance Management & Employee Relations:
  1. Drive the performance evaluation process, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with business goals.
  2. Provide guidance on performance improvement plans (PIPs) and career development.
  3. Address employee concerns, foster engagement, and promote a positive work culture.
  4. Standardize performance management processes through structured workflows and SOPs.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of HR experience, with expertise in payroll, compliance, training, and performance management.
  3. Strong knowledge of labor laws, COMPASS, HR compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., SAP HR, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, QuickHR, etc.) is an advantage.
  5. Knowledge of employment tax regulations and tax filing procedures.
  6. Experience in developing and implementing HR workflows and SOPs.
  7. Experience in supporting internal audits and ISMS compliance.
  8. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build strong partnerships across teams.
