Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Advisor to join our team at HSF Prolegis Formal Law Alliance for a 6-month parental leave cover. The HR Advisor will play a critical role as the face of HR for HSF Prolegis Formal Law Alliance, building strong relationships with employees at all levels and managing day-to-day processes in the employee lifecycle. This role involves collaboration with various Human Resources functions including Recruitment, Reward & Benefits, Learning & Development (L&D), and Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Graduate Recruitment/Resourcing: Develop and manage the graduate recruitment programme, including job postings, CV screening, interview arrangements, and offer discussions. Coordinate HR processes for vacation schemes and trainee programs, and oversee the Arbitration internship programme.
  2. HR Operations: Manage all HR-related matters across the employee lifecycle, including employment contracts, onboarding, payroll, and exit logistics. Maintain HR databases and ensure accuracy of data.
  3. Regulatory and Compliance: Work with General Counsel and Risk and HRM on matters relating to the Formal-Law Alliance (FLA), ensuring compliance with local regulations and obtaining necessary certifications for lawyers.
  4. Rewards and Benefits: Coordinate annual and mid-year review moderations, prepare salary and bonus letters, and facilitate review meetings.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  1. Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of HR experience, ideally in a legal or professional services firm.
  2. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  3. Familiarity with ATS systems (e.g., Workday).
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in interacting with people at all levels.
  5. Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  6. Effective planning, scheduling, prioritisation, and time management skills.
  7. High level of customer focus and a ‘can do’ attitude.
  8. Demonstrated diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality.
