Job description
  • Position: HR Admin Assistant/Executive - Recruitment process/ Labor Laws - Up to $4,000
  • Location: Shenton Way (Nearby MRT)
  • Working hours: 5 days work week, 9.00am to 6.00pm - 2 DAYS WFH
  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4000 + Completion Bonus + Variable bonus + 16 Days of Annual leave + Flexible benefits (besides medical, insurance) optical, gym, health screening and dental
  • Duration: 1 year contract (Possible to convert to perm based on performance)
  • Industry: Freight forwarding agency

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and participate in the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Provide support to managers and employees in performance-related matters.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure the organization's practices align with legal requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Hands on for Employment and dependent pass application, transfer, cancellation etc.
  • Assist in monthly payroll and CPF contributions.
  • Organize team-building activities and events.
  • Perform ad-hoc admin duties.

Requirements:

  • Diploma degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of proven experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Strong knowledge of MOM’s, CPF labor laws and regulations.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only.
