To produce a high standard of clean rooms and ensure that the amenities in the rooms are sufficiently supplied for the convenience and comfort of the guests.
To ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the guestrooms and public areas.
To collect keys for the assigned areas and sign in the key log book.
To ensure that the trolleys are neatly stacked with linen and that there is a sufficient stock of supplies before starting to make up rooms.
To prioritize daily job tasks, e.g., which room to clean first.
To ensure that guest rooms and check-out rooms are cleaned as per Housekeeping standards and that room supplies are completely replenished.
To clean and maintain the maids' pantry and service area after every shift daily.
To remove all dirty room service trays, trolleys, cutleries, and crockeries from corridors and guest rooms to the service area.
To ensure that rubbish bags are cleared and disposed of at the garbage area after every shift.
To know the various housekeeping amenities used in guest rooms.
To report any maintenance defects to the Housekeeping Office.
To follow the rules and regulations of the Hotel and Management.
To maintain personal grooming at the highest standard.
To be fully familiar with Housekeeping Policies and Procedures, Job Description, and the Employee's handbook.
To perform all duties other than those above which are requested by the hotel management or direct supervisor.
