Job Summary

As a Hitachi Resident engineer, you need to have experience as a Storage Administrator with in-depth knowledge of Hitachi storage systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.
2. Incident management and change management process knowledge.
3. Project handling experience from sizing to roll-out, preferably with project management background. Strong analytical skill, very initiative, good planning & systematic execution.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science.
2. Hitachi storage architecture.
3. Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00 etc).
4. Storage replication, snapshot, shadow image and remote replication sync and async.
5. Hitachi Global Active Device.
6. Hitachi tools such as HCS, HTnM, HDLM etc.
7. Brocade switch and fabric (zoning, ISL, trunking, fabric merging etc).
8. Basic knowledge of VMware, OS (AIX/Windows/Linux).
9. Basic scripting knowledge.

Role-specific Requirements

Skillset competencies:

1. 5+ years' experience in Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00 etc).
