Helpdesk Support Engineer (East/1 year contract)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.
  • Respond to queries, run diagnostics, isolate problems, determine and implement solutions.
  • Respond to user queries raised via the helpdesk ticketing system (Freshservice).
  • Follow up with users to ensure full resolution of issues raised.
  • Run reports to analyze common issues and problems raised by users.
  • Remotely access hardware or software to fix issues supporting remote offices.
  • Install, modify, update, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Respond to email, phone calls, and walk-ins for users requesting technical assistance.
  • Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer systems.
  • Provide assistance to hardware and software-related projects.
  • Maintain an inventory list of computer systems, software, and peripherals deployed in the organization.
  • Perform any other tasks or assignments in connection with IT services.

Requirements:

  • Diploma with 1-3 years of IT helpdesk experience.
  • Good communication skills and ownership with the ability to manage stakeholders.
  • 1 year contract near Spore Expo with full benefits and completion bonus.
  • 5 days a week.
