Job description

The Head of Project Management will oversee and lead all project management activities with the Interior Design Team. This role involves managing project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of hospitality design projects, and maintaining high standards of quality, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management within the hospitality design industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of the work experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:Lead and mentor a team of project managers, designers, and support staff.
    Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Project Oversight:Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of hospitality design projects.
    Develop and implement project management standards, and best practices.
    Ensure all projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Client Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
    Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with design, construction, and operational teams to ensure alignment and integration of project goals.
    Communicate project progress and challenges to the management team.
    Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers as needed.
  • Quality Assurance:Ensure that all design and construction work meets the company's standards and client expectations.
    Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in either Architecture or Interior Design
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the design and project management within the hospitality design industry.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality design principles, construction processes, and industry trends.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
