Head of Treasury Marketing

Key Responsibilities

Revenue and Business Development

• Achieve financial goals: Drive annual revenue targets for the Treasury Marketing Unit (TMU), aligned with department budget.
• Client acquisition & retention: Work alongside Relationship Managers (RMs) to:
• Acquire new corporate clients.
• Maintain and deepen existing client relationships.
• Actively promote treasury products and services (especially FX and derivatives).

Advisory and Execution

• Client advisory: Provide market intelligence and analysis.
• Recommend FX and interest rate hedging strategies.
• Trade execution: Execute FX and other derivative trades on behalf of corporate clients.

Compliance and Governance

• Ensure adherence to:
• Local financial regulations.
• Internal bank policies and procedures.

Leadership & Administration

• Likely to lead a team or oversee TMU operations.
• Handle ad hoc tasks or strategic directives from the Branch Manager or line manager.

Job Requirements

• Degree in finance, economics, or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 8 years in financial services, ideally with treasury product sales or trading experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Strong customer focus and ability to customize financial solutions to client needs.

Specific Focus of the Role

Treasury Sales Leadership:

• This is a front-office, client-facing role with a sales/advisory focus, especially for FX and derivatives.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with RMs and other internal stakeholders to enhance client offerings.
• Client-centric: Needs a consultative approach — identifying risk exposures and offering customized hedging solutions.
• Strategic contributor: May influence product strategy or market penetration plans in Singapore.
