Our client, with over 20 years in Commodities trading across various regions, is currently seeking a Head of Trade Finance.

Functioning as an independent contributor, the Head of Trade Finance will be responsible for building strong relationships with external parties to gather new credit lines. The Head of Trade Finance will gradually build up the Trade Finance department to support the end-to-end activities related to trade finance.

Skills and Qualifications

• Possess at least a Master’s Degree in Finance or equivalent
• At least 10 years of working experience in Trade Finance
• Strong connections with upper management external parties from banks or trade credit funds
• Able to communicate in Mandarin and English as the role requires communication with Chinese-speaking associates/counterparts
• Familiarity with relevant policies and regulations in China and Singapore is ideal
• Working experience within the Commodity Trading industry is an advantage
