Head of Sustainability, Asia Pacific

The Head of Sustainability leads activities for a sustainable future and business in the APAC region and supports the implementation of the Group’s sustainability strategy in all Operational Companies (OpCo) in the region.

The core responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Play an instrumental role in communicating and building awareness of the sustainability strategy in the APAC Division, helping to translate it into meaningful actions for colleagues at all levels of the Division.
2. Establish and maintain effective formal and informal collaborative working relationships to ensure a good understanding of sustainability objectives and programs.
3. Lead on the provision of practical support to OpCo’s to provide technical advice on sustainability issues.
4. Regular visits to APAC facilities are conducted to identify opportunities to improve sustainability practices and provide sustainability training as needed.
5. Build network with internal/external stakeholders to share our activities and acquire up-to-date information and support.
6. Review budgets and annual plans for each OpCo to ensure priorities remain in line with the Group’s sustainability strategy.
7. Work closely with each OpCo’s sustainability manager to identify sustainability-related issues in the country and support them in overcoming challenges.
