About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced leader to head our Medical Writing team in Asia Development. As the Head of Scientific & Medical Writing, you will lead and build a best-in-class Medical Writing team, responsible for delivering high-quality documents that meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of internal Medical Writing employees.
2. Define and execute strategies for recruitment of top talent.
3. Create opportunities for development of capabilities and careers.
4. Lead cross-functional and cross-TA improvement initiatives.
5. Inspire and promote smart-risk taking based on informed decisions.
6. Lead process improvement, training, quality, and compliance.
7. Leverage digital tools to improve efficiency and enhance productivity.
8. Provide representation for GSK in external regulatory requirements and process improvement initiatives.
9. Oversee the identification and engagement of third-party partners.

Why you?

To be successful in this role, you need to have a good understanding of the complex clinical development and regulatory landscapes of Japan and China, including cutting-edge study designs, data interpretation and skills to communicate effectively.

You'll also need:

1. A Master's degree in Science, Life science or Pharmacy.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical regulatory writing in the pharmaceutical industry.
3. Leadership experience in multicultural settings, demonstrated by managing diverse teams or projects across different countries or cultures.
4. Experience in clinical development and regulatory landscapes of Japan and China.
5. Excellent communication skills in English with an agile and growth mindset.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
