What You'll Own

InMobi’s Commercial team works to drive growth & manage revenue operations for InMobi Ads. We are focused on winning new business, growing InMobi’s market share, and developing our reputation of being an industry leader in mobile, video & native to drive definable outcomes for both brand and performance campaigns.

As a key driver of the SEA team, you will be responsible for building revenue and relationships through Agencies. This individual will manage the SEA book of business for the InMobi South-East Asia and Hong Kong region and work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Business Development, Technical Operations, Business Analysts, and Client Services).

We are looking for a sales leader who can understand complex problems and, importantly, has experience in identifying different ways to go about solving them. You should ideally have worked in cross-functional roles and have the ability to develop close strategic relationships with clients by clearly articulating data and insights. You would operate with a high degree of autonomy and be expected to manage/ be accountable for your sales pipeline effectively. The role would be expected to include participating in executive-level revenue reporting as well as quarterly/ annual planning exercises for the assigned portfolio of accounts. The role will be based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development & implementation of the regional sales plan and strategy, working closely with other cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and close strategic advertising partnerships to ensure long-term success for the company.
  • Develop and grow repeat business, manage relationships to achieve quarterly revenue and monetization targets.
  • Must have or quickly develop senior-most agency relationships at Director/ Head levels in region and by market.
  • Work cross-functionally to articulate and develop new advertising opportunities that meet the needs of buyers and demand sources.
  • Communicate effectively internally to align resources (product, engineering, business operations etc.) to help meet and exceed advertisers’ needs that are critical to InMobi’s success.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivating attitude and ability to lead a team positively.
  • Coach & mentor existing sales team and proactively problem solve around any challenges. Actively drive hiring of new sales team members & be responsible for full ramp-up/ training.

What do we require from you

  • 10+ years of total experience required, with 5+ years of digital media sales. Exposure to mobile advertising preferred.
  • Strong network of senior-level relationships across agencies and advertisers in SEA countries.
  • Proven ability to build sales strategies and drive sales pipeline to closures, to consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • High-energy and passionate self-starter with strong analytical skills who’s extremely comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment.
  • Proven ability to solve customer problems and technical issues, pro-actively creating solutions through cross-functional collaboration.
  • BSc/ BA required; MBA preferred.

Ideal candidates must possess

Must haves:

  • Exceptional analytical skills, high level of comfort with data and a creative approach to problem solving, with the ability to distill key business insights from data.
  • Strong Sales Experience & proven versatility in problem solving with extensive contacts across the industry in Agencies/ Trading Desks.
  • Excellent communication & analytical mindset with a strong understanding of the digital ad marketplace.
  • Proven success of having managed a high performance team.

Should have:

  • Prior client facing experience while owning revenue management for a product/ business line/ account/ geography.
  • Ability to work across different global cultures and in a matrix style environment.
  • Intermediate/ Advanced knowledge of MS Excel skills/ PowerPoint.
