Head of Sales ＆ Marketing (Japanese Corporate Division)

【Job Description】

1. Based in Singapore, the role will lead a small team responsible for sourcing and procuring corporate loans to Japanese-linked corporate clients in the region.
2. Cultivates and maintains strong client relationships and support, focusing mainly on Japanese-linked corporates and business development.
3. Maintains a strong sales pipeline, identifying potential prospects and new opportunities with existing clients with the objective of meeting sales targets.
4. Works closely with the Japan Headquarters and local management in managing credit and other related risks in building the loans portfolio of Japanese-linked clients.
5. Responsible for negotiating and structuring loan facilities and agreements.
6. Supports and assists in the on-boarding of new clients and periodic KYC reviews.

【Requirements】

1. Minimum Bachelor's degree
2. 10 years working experience with at least 5 years in a financial institution in corporate loans function.
3. Working knowledge of the Japanese language and culture is required to communicate effectively with head office and Japanese-linked clients.
4. Proactive, strong initiative, drive, and motivation in setting targets and achieving them.
5. Good knowledge of the kind and spread of Japanese corporates in the region would be an advantage.
